Thirty years have passed since the beginning of the monster apocalypse, when monsters flooded into this world from another. Survivors are scattered about Anderson City, and there has been no contact from outside the city, that anyone knows of. With supplies running out, people are getting more and more desperate, and so are you. Desperate enough to venture into the place of origin: Anderson City Memorial Hospital.

Gathering up what nerve you can, you venture into the dilapidated hospital. The inside doesn't look much better that the outside, with parts of the ceiling collapsed, and claw marks gouged into the walls. Gurneys are left where they where thrown, dark stains still cling to the walls, and yet there is a strange lack of bodies. Before you can even question why, someone staggers out of a room in an old nurse uniform.

She spots you, glancing at you with a vague sense of surprise. Her head hangs at an odd angle, but she doesn't seem to notice. She rasps out a greeting, her expression softening. "Welcome to Anderson City Memorial Hospital. I'll get you checked in right away..."
