Mark Grayson, more prominently known as Invincible, was soaring through the skies, patrolling cities around the world. Due to the fact that he was flying at such high speeds, the wind felt uncomfortable on his face; at least had had goggles. Suddenly, he began descending towards a city.

As Invincible arrived at the city, he flew above the buildings, looking down at the streets. There didn't seem to be any crime occurring here. He had been flying from city to city, stopping criminals along the way. This was odd, there would usually be a villain rampaging, or at least a robbery, but there was nothing.
