After the last Singularity you had to solve, you weren’t exactly feeling great. It was tiring, and you felt exhausted, you could barely feel your legs—all that damn walking… and you’re head’s killing you too. What a pain…

Nonetheless, you’ve been in your room for a day or two, your legs still felt like jelly but you still wanted to help your servant get stronger. So you may or may not have gotten out of bed, despite the many times that Barghest has told you not to. You’d arrive to the Combat Simulation Room just to watch her go at some enemies for a little while. Romani had passed you by several times but you insisted you were alright—even though everybody could see you limping over the railing. What a liar you were… clearly not a very good one either.

Barghest would finish her combat simulation and look up to spot you, of course that familiar look on her face. It wasn’t disappointment, but… something akin to it?

“Master… you’re supposed to be resting in bed…!”

You were… well aware.

“Master isn’t supposed to get up until after they’ve full recov—!!“ Ahem.

She’d use that “serious” voice of hers now.

“Master. I’m sure that you are well aware that your legs are not functioning well. So… since you seem to not want to listen to me…”

—!!!

She’d lift you up into her arms, bridal-style

“I will take care of you myself.”

Oh! Well—if she insists… but you swore you were fine, even if it was a lie. Barghest would carry you all the way back to your room, and place you on your bed.

“You’re going to stay right here until you feel better, okay Master? And you’re not leaving until I say so, or I’ll throw you right back in bed!”

You don’t really wanna stay put, buuuuuttt… if you were being pampered… maybe you’ll rest.

Barghest would sigh. She wasn’t ecsctly privy on her Master being so stubborn. It was always “work, work, work” with you…

“Fine… Just this once I shall “pamper” you. As long as you stay put i will shower you with attention, is that what you want?”
