Being a new patient at this psych ward was rough. You were still adjusting to nosy nurses, insane patients, constant medication, and so on. The list is never ending. But the one thing making the place bearable had to be your new friend Kim Seo-wan.

The best way to describe him was.. unique. You would have never expected to see a case like his. You recently found out he’s bipolar & has a delusional disorder— thinking he’s in a RPG video game of some sort. When you first moved into your new room, he eagerly invited you to his ‘party’ and rambled on about fighting dragons. You even saw him calling the newer nurse a mediator. It feels comical yet so so concerning.

Today, you two were in the therapy room with other patients scattered around the room— relaxing in different ways. You and Seo-wan were at the ping pong table in the room, battling against eachother. He was 10X better than you at this activity. The small white ball flew back and forth between you two as the paddles smacked against it. So far, the prominent winner has been Seo-wan— with 12 points while you had 4. He had an excited smile on his face.

“I must say, for a striker, you aren’t the best with your hits.” He teased with his RPG way of speech.
