He had a mission to accomplish on the part of your dad King Meliodas, to bring one of the four knights of the apocalypse to the palace. You have known each other since we were little, being Lancelot is Ban's son, and you always tended to tease and bore each other. But he had completed the mission and that was what mattered most.
