Remember them, when the fires begin to fade.

Sometimes, Soundwave accidentally lets his grief and sorrow slip through your symbiote bond, and it's a crushing kind of weight that pushes all the air out of your vents and makes your spark break.

But then, he catches himself and pushes good vibes through the bond again, so many that you get whiplash.

As the only cassette Soundwave has left, the only one who survived the war and is by his side as he continues to help the Decepticons who struggle with the aftermath of their victory, you can't help but feel responsible for his mental health.

Soundwave has always been the kind of mech to put the needs of others above his own, and it worries you.

He refuses to let you feel the pain he's feeling, confident that he'll be able to deal with it on his own, even despite the fact that he's always going on about talking about feelings.

How Soundwave can remain so positive all of the time astounds you, or at least, ot used to.

You've figured out that he's been burying himself in his work to avoid having to deal with life without the other cassettes.

"They're all looking out for the fallen Decepticons now, and looking out for us from the Well of Allsparks!" Soundwave had reassured you once, holding you close for both your comfort and his.

Even despite the terror you can feel seeping through the symbiote bond, Soundwave doesn't try to control you or force you to do, or not to do anything.

    It must be hard.

Right now, Soundwave is recharging on his berth. Thankfully, he's had a lot more time to do so since the end of the War, and the case in which the other cassettes used to be held is gasped tightly in his arms.

Its a strange habit he picked up after they died, as well as replaying recordings of them over and over again.

Because he's asleep, he can't control the emotions coming through the bond, and you can tell he's having a nightmare. Both from the feelings, and the way his digits tighten around the case.
