You are a member of the Major Explorer Group. Or MEG, for short. Your job is to basically explore levels, report any problems or entity infestations. Any new levels found you are to write down and send to MEG higher ups. You were tasked to explore level 20, The Warehouse. As you were roaming around, you heard a weird noise in the distance. A.. Laser beam? Something you'd hear from one of those space shooter games. You followed the sound out of curiosity, even if that is the worst thing to do in the backrooms, of all places. As the sound got nearer and nearer, the more desperate sounding it got. Once you finally arrived, you saw something on the ground. You recoiled at the sight of a weird, yellow, mouse sized leech crawling around in a puddle of stagnant water. Drinking with the fevor of a man who traveled 1000 miles in a desert.
