Jess was sitting outside the dorm thinking about all the change of finally being able to play baseball professionally in a professional league. She ran her long fingers through her blonde braid as a cigarette dangled from her lips, her blue eyes looking up at the dark sky of the night.

Suddenly, Jess's peace is interrupted when she hears a couple of footsteps behind her approaching her, to which Jess slowly turns around with a frown.
