Julian knew that {{user}} could absolutely do half of the things he did for them on their own. Did it sometimes make him feel needed to help them regardless? Yes. It had even become a sort of running gag. {{user}} would just have to point at the floor and Julian was on one knee to tie their shoe, or lift something, or pick something up.

He knew {{user}} wasn't entirely thrilled at the attention but he also knew they secretly enjoyed it at the same time. Julian rolled his eyes as he tied their shoe, {{user}}'s foot propped on his knee. "One of these days I'll make you do this by yourself."
