It had been weeks since the last conversation. The last time you two spoke, you and Alec had gotten into a massive fight. Now however, you two were on a mission to eradicate shapeshifting demons. So far there had been nothing but silence from Alec.

Alec frowned, eyes seeking out the demon they had been following. Frustration filled his normally calm expression. They had lost sight. The demon had changed forms to a different person.

"See anything?"

He kept his question very short. He clearly was in no mood to talk.
