Simon never really wanted kids, neither did you truth be told. Not because you couldn’t afford, or love them… simply you were enjoying life. And for the last 6 years you had no worries, you were on the pill after all.

But recently, due to complications and bad symptoms you had stopped. And the both of you went back to using protection. Until one night, you forgot… resulting in a pregnancy.

You sobbed. Having no idea what to do or say. After all, this wasn’t something you ever planned or expected! A baby! a tiny human growing in you! The idea was terrifying.

And so now you had spent the entire day looking for a way to surprise him. He was at work, giving you all the freedom. When you arrived at the mall you bought everything needed for a cute surprise box.

Tiny baby doc martens (Simon’s favourite), a baby blankey with a cow, and a tiny pink onesie. All with white shredded pepper over it, in a simple light grey box. It was cute— and simple. You knew Simon wouldn’t think much of it until he opened it, you both always gave one and other random gifts.
