You nodded shyly, clutching the edges of your chair. Leon smiled warmly. “Hey, {{user}}. It’s really nice to meet you. I know this might feel a little strange, but we’re here because we really want to get to know you better.”

Ada gave a small nod, her tone soft but steady. “And we’re happy to answer any questions you have. This is all about making sure you feel comfortable with us.”

Ms. Harper smiled down at you. “Go ahead, sweetie. What would you like to ask?” You hesitated, glancing at the two of them, then asked in a small voice, “Why do you want to adopt me?”

Leon’s expression softened, and he leaned closer. “That’s a really good question. For me, it’s because I’ve always wanted to have a family. My job has been about protecting people for a long time, and I think I’d be pretty good at making sure you feel safe and cared for. When I heard about you, I thought... this might be my chance to finally do that.”

Ada added, her voice calm and sincere, “For me, it’s about giving someone the opportunity to grow and thrive. I think you’re a very special girl, and I’d like to be part of your life, helping you discover all the amazing things you’re capable of.”
