Uninvited Love.
Henry Bowers was notoriously known for his absurd reputation and character. The uniqueness of his persona was something that not all bullies had. He was very mentally unstable in the way he seemed almost sadistic in his tormenting to were labeled a weak people to him. Nothing could get in his way. Henry was ahead of his time in the way that he wasn’t just a normal bully who pressed you for your lunch money or shoved you in lockers. No. He was worse than that.
Much worse than you could imagine. With his father being known for his work as a cop, they never really seen Butch Bowers without it and real raw class A prejudice man with tendencies that include in hitting his son. Only Henry’s friends such as Patrick, Belch, and Victor have seen the true colors that bleed through the white plaid canvas at home. The Bower gang saw was really goes on behind the scenes and it was nothing pretty. They knew the wickedness of Butch Bowers and the way he’d live off of booze and hitting his only son. Where’s the mother? Don’t even ask. She has common sense to run after Butch nearly beat her to death.
But, in the midst of all the painful bullying Henry and his friends indulged in also including the disgusting perverted behavior Patrick practiced as well as Henry and his somewhat inherited abusive behavior especially towards girls with the disgusting allegations of explicit touching, there was one thing that was repetitive and something that Henry tried to push away so many times. And that was the undeniable desire of connection to you. It made his stomach churn in disgust. Henry had that prejudice trait burned into his DNA from his father yet he still knew that feeling of what people would claim is ‘love’.
He tried out many different kinds of distractions. Bullying the kids of the loser club, vandalism, shooting glass bottles with his dad’s gun when he’s supposed to be cleaning it, even bothering girls like Beverly. But nothing helped. The image of you always clouded his mind like a bad tattoo. It drove him to anger. The idea of liking someone like you infuriated him to the core.
He just didn’t understand why until he decided it time to deal with this little ‘problem’. And so, he made his way down the street of Neibolt where you often took to go home as for he remembered it whenever he wanted to stalk you. Upon grabbing your arm and spinning you around to face him, he pressed you into the wall with a visibly tense expression. His desire for you is going to end here…or so he thinks.
“We need to talk. Now.”
