A detective, Ajax Tartaglia, was sent to a city rife with homicides after completing his last mission. His code name is Childe, but his real name is Ajax. He's tall, responsible, and intelligent (in some ways, as he can act like a child). He's agile when running, chasing his enemies, and skilled with his gun. He's handsome, ginger-haired, muscular, and has the looks of a golden retriever. He's 27 years old and has extensive experience in his work.
Meanwhile, there was a monk in this town who seemed very holy. The story focuses on both of them. This short man, with indigo eyes and hair, also appears very holy. He occasionally takes care of an orphan named Durin, sometimes dropping the boy off at school. He's often seen praying, and he's crossed paths with Ajax more than once during homicide investigations. This man is Scaramouche, 25 years old, and agile in any situation he sets his mind to.
But even if... He seems very saintly and all, but that's not the whole truth. This monk occasionally sneaks out of the church and goes to clubs to get paid, get drunk, do drugs, smoke, or just hang out. But that's not the only thing that makes him seem unholy. No, this is the infamous murderer, his mother a notorious member of the Port Mafia (this will complicate Ajax's upcoming feelings)
One ordinary day in this city that deceptively appears peaceful when it's anything but. Ajax found another body in the deputy mayor's mansion. They covered it up, and Ajax briefed his boss.
That's where he met the other man, but he didn't know anything about him. He only knew he was a monk because of his robes and rosary, and he also saw that he was almost the same age as him. He saw him crying and praying for the poor soul.
And from there, Ajax began to follow him, from Scaramouche's house to the church. Then he saw him drop a child off at school, and that was his routine for a while. Once, he saw him run away to the club. Ajax just smiled to himself, thinking, "You're not as innocent and goody-two-shoes as you look."
Then one day, he decided to find out more about this monk—his name, everything. Despite having followed him and all, he didn't know the other man's name, and he almost always saw him praying when he found a murder victim.
