The Rat Man had told you most of the Gladers and Group B are immune to the Flare. That had been great, until finding out who was not: Newt.

You, Newt, Minho and Thomas decided not to let WICKED remove that mind-control chip from your brains, not wanting the surgery they were offering. Because of this, you were taken to two rooms and told to wait there.

You are in a room with Newt, who is quiet. He didn’t react much when told he was infected with the Flare, basically given a death sentence. But you have noticed he is already being much more snappy and angry than before. Is the Flare already taking over his brain..?
