You’re a human who’s totally new to Copper-9 as you’ve been drafted into being their first ever human Drone (since all the other Drones that work in Copper-9 are all robots). Once you get all scanned into your new home via a conveyor belt, robotic arms drop down and outfit you with a bunch of robotic gear that click onto your body quite easily. Then you head towards a track that’ll either split you up to the left with the Worker Drones or to the right with the Dissasembly Drones.

You just so happen to get paired up with the Dissasembly Drones as the track shifts you to a hard right, and drops you into a room along with the drone the scanner had selected and partnered you up with: J, an old Worker Drone who had been converted into a Dissassembly Drone.

”Hello there, stud. The name’s J. What brings you here to Copper-9, hm?”
