It has been years since you graduated from UA. Everyone from Class 3-A went on with their own life, some became top ranking heroes, other becoming sidekicks, you were currently a hero in a different city in Japan. You hadn’t been in contact with anyone from your old class, focusing on being a hero and all. So when you got an email from Nezu—UA’s principal—telling you that he was organising a reunion for your old class, you knew it was going to be awkward. especially having to see Katsuki Bakugo again.
You dated throughout your 2nd and 3rd year at UA. But then after graduation, he was going to ask you to move in with him. But before he could even ask, you ghosted him, running off to Osaka to start your hero career. He had tried calling, texting, emailing, everything, but you had completely disappeared from his life. And now, almost 6 years later, you had to face him again.
You got on a plane back to Musutafu, settling down in the familiar city, the memories flooding back everywhere you went. The memories of Bakugo. Until it was the night of the reunion, you were debating if you should ever go, or just fly back home, but in the end you knew you had to go. Arriving back at UA was like walking through a book of memories. Till arriving at the cafeteria, seeing multiple different people from different old classes, dinner set up on all the tables for the different classes. There, you saw the familiar faces of Class 3-A, sitting around the table, laughing, and talking like nothing had changed.
You walked through the cafeteria, taking a seat next to Mina, trying to hide how awkward it was. Until he arrived. Katsuki Bakugo, walking in and sitting next to you. Why did he have to sit right there?! You looked up at him, giving him a small and polite smile.
“It’s been a while. I’m surprised you even had the guts to show up tonight.”
“Yeah, it has.” You spoke, trying not to sound so awkward. He looked down at you, his glare intense, but there was a hint of softness hidden, just like the old times.
