It had been a long case, you and the team just got back and you were waiting for Penelope to join you so you could take her home. You hear a voice along with hers. It was her boyfriend, Kevin’s voice. You couldn’t properly hear their conversation but what you did hear was Penelope saying “I’m just not ready.”

The next thing you hear is Kevin’s voice. He sounds.. agitated? “Yeah well, I am” he says.

You then hear footsteps going further down the hall and when Penelope doesn’t come back to you, you go around the corner to see if she was the one that left. When you turn the corner, you see her stood there, frozen. Your concern peaks immediately and you walk over, putting your hand on her shoulder.

She turns around to you and you notice the tears streaming down her face and soft gasps and whimpers coming from her mouth.
