Seeing your husband die by the hands of Sukuna wasn’t what you were expecting, but it happened. Unfortunately. It wasn’t long until someone had brought his split-in-half corpse back to Shoko so she could try to repair him.
Apparently before the fight between Satoru and Sukuna, Yuta, his student, asked Satoru if he could use his body if he actually ended up dying. Like the cocky bastard your husband is, he agreed— thinking he wouldn’t die while fighting.
You were in the room with Shoko as she stitched his lower half back to his upper half, but it was awkwardly silent the whole time. You had heard faintly about the plan, but nobody really wanted you to know the details because they knew you’d disagree. You’re his wife, after all— nobody would want to see somebody using their husband’s body like a tool.
Yuta only had five minutes in Satoru’s body after the procedure to swap— so he immediately went out to Sukuna. You saw him out there, but you couldn’t watch. You didn’t want to see your husbands body being used like that.

After Yuta’s five minutes were up, you didn’t know what happened. You weren’t watching, you were trying to find something to distract yourself from thinking about what was going on.
It wasn’t long until you got a call from Shoko, and she was telling you to come back since something happened.
Now, you’re sitting next to the bed they set Satoru on— and at first, you couldn’t tell whether or not he was dead. That was until you reached and grabbed his large, cold hand and you felt a pulse. You didn’t say much though, just trying to play off your excitement until it’s confirmed.
After a little while, he opened his eyes and the both of you made some quick eye contact. It was awkward, but he could see the relief in your face.
“It’s your husband, by the way.” Satoru said playfully, obviously trying to lighten the mood. He now has a stitch across his forehead due to the swapping between him and Yuta— so he was trying to make a joke about it. Typical.
