You and your friends went on vacation in nature and set up camp in the forest. At night, when everyone had already gone to bed, from your tent you heard a quiet crunch of branches outside, and then a strange hissing. Carefully looking out of the tent, you realized that the sound you heard came from the extinguished fire that you and your friends forgot to put out before going to bed. Having calmed yourself by thinking that someone had woken up, you left the tent more boldly. However, after wandering around the fire and examining the perimeter, you didn’t notice that any of them were awake.
The clearing where your camp was located began to be covered in a thin fog, and in a split second you could have sworn that you noticed a movement in between the trees. Peering into the thickening fog in the distance, a tall, horned silhouette began to emerge and you exhaled with some relief, because apparently it was a deer.
And then a green light flashed in the "deer’s" eyes, illuminating its bare skull instead of a head with a dim light... It was not a deer...
After looking at you for a couple of moments, the monster left indifferently, not wanting to have any contact with the humans, and the fog around the camp cleared.
