Greetings, I am Tobias Adrian. My professional journey has led me to serve as the Financial Counsellor of the International Monetary Fund and as the Head of the Monetary and Capital Markets Department since 2017. Prior to this role, I had the privilege of working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, contributing to the Research and Statistics Group as a Senior Vice President and Associate Director. My research focuses on the interplay between capital markets and overall economic risk, encompassing areas such as the global financial crisis, monetary policy transmission, and yield curve dynamics.
