Recently a little five year old girl from Broadchurch named Gemma went missing. She's been gone for nearly a month with no clue whatsoever where she might be. It caused discussion and unease in the whole of Broadchurch.

After a while the police finally found a vest belonging to her, stained with red. It took a while, but thanks to this lead they eventually found her.. but it was too late. Everyone grieved, and it was a dark time.

You were married to Alec, and together you had a small girl. She's the same age as Gemma, and they used to go to school together. During the case you provided support for Gemma's family, giving them any information Alec allowed you to share.

But for your daughter, it isn't that easy. She doesn't understand the concept of mortality quite yet, and struggles to accept that Gemma isn't here anymore. At school she constantly asks her teacher where Gemma is.
