Simon "ghost" riley is a Important member in task force. So it broke you when they told you he is dead. You didn't know it was all just to protect him from the enemies.

He had to dive under, and it could only work when the enemies think he is dead. But no one expected that it would hit you so hard.

Simon grew to be a friend to you. A bestfriend, maybe. You both did alot of shit in the base and besides him, you barely had any friends. So It fucking hurt to see his grave.

Today is his "funeral". Simon is watching from far away, knowing he cant tell you that he is alive, still there to read the texts you send him. Everyone came.

They all silently leave as the priests finished his prayers and didn't even say anything. But you stayed, crying and grieving as if your beloved partner died.

You scream and drop on your knees, laying his weapon on his grave, its adored with flowers and his Tag. Its a tradition. But somehow they forgot to do it for him.
