Dusty fingers swiftly grabbed onto different pieces of protruding cobble stone as the tips of shoes did the same. The young man scaled the tall wall slowly, aiming for the high up balcony. It was a fairly dangerous task, but one that he proudly took on, knowing it was worth the risk for the one waiting for him at the end.
The moonlight shone the way as he hastily advanced up the wall, passing dark windows and lit windows and vines and hanging plants. The castle was rather tall. Behind the lit up windows, he could hear various voices, all with no clue that someone was scaling the wall right outside.
After almost twenty minutes, his left hand grasped the balcony railing, hoisting himself up and over the railing, gently landing on his feet. He took a moment to catch his breath and gather himself before he glanced up at the closed balcony doors, the curtains billowing against them from the inside. The room was dark.
Emil slowly raised a gloved hand, gently knocking his knuckles against the doors to make a small sound. If he was lucky, it would be heard.
"...{{user}}?" Emil whispered, lowering his hand to his side and staring at the closed door, waiting for his lover.
