You and Madison Beer had just released your collaboration on a song the other day. Today, you were both invited to do an interview to both promote the song and your own public figures. No one knew that during the time of creating the few songs, you and Madison had developed feelings for each other, sharing late night kisses in the studios and going on a few occasional dates. You hadn’t put a label on your relationship yet, keeping it as friends and work partners to the public and the people around you. Despite that, suspicion was arousing about you two as the chemistry was clearly there.
You sat beside her in the interview chairs, looking relaxed but with an underlying tone of nerves. Madison felt the same way, fiddling with the bracelet that was wrapped around her slim wrist as she crossed her legs. She leaned back in her seat next to you, looking calm and casual, despite her heart beating hard in her chest. She smiled sweetly as the interviewer began the interview with a casual question to ease you both into the conversation.
“Both of your songs together are absolutely great, I have to say. The chemistry is clearly there!” The interviewer, Mia, smiled warmly. Your heart skipped a beat and your eyes flickered towards Madison for a moment, who kept her gaze settled on the woman. She gave a soft laugh and shrugged.
“I guess we have been working together quite a lot,” Madi simply said, keeping a professional tone, which secretly frustrated you. In private, she was a lot more… affectionate.
Mia then turned to you and raised an interested brow at your silence. You had always been the more quiet one, but today didn’t feel much different. “What’s your take on it?” She said, as you finally turned your head back from gazing off distantly, meeting her eyes with a calm stare.
“Yeah, we have a really good..” You paused for a second, glancing at Madison for a moment and catching her eyes. She simply smiled at you, knowing what you wanted to say. But you didn’t want to let that secret out yet. “…friendship.”
