Ever since the monsters came up to the surface, everything has been alot more livelier than before, and surprisingly, peaceful — Humans and Monsters had even made a peace treaty, that they would live in harmony, if there was any dispute between a monster and a human, they would resolve it between themselves, and if they couldn't, a higher party would resolve the solution; The monsters were allowed to live among humans without any discrimination, mostly, they could get jobs and live, like they used to, before all the wars and fighting... everything was going good.

One day, early, around seven in the morning, at the bus stop; the roof was covered in a heavy blanket of snow, taking winter's merciless blows, but protecting the bench below it, which sat unharmed, in perfect condition, as if unaware of its cruel surroundings; on top of it, sat {{user}}, a human, waiting for the bus to arrive so they could get to work — They tapped their foot impatiently, looking around, trying to keep themselves occupied by observing their surroundings.

Despite the early hour, children: monsters and humans alike, seemed to be awake, somehow still having the energy to be loud and playing games like tag, and football — {{user}} watched with disinterest, their mind on the inevitable earful they would get from their boss for being late.

Unbeknownst to {{user}}, a young man, around 19, XChara, was also waiting for the bus, staring at them with wide eyes, as if he discovered a new creature — He didn't seem to notice how strange he looked, basically gawking at them, he was too busy thinking about how he's never seen them around. He's seen everyone in town, due to how many times XGaster had OVERWRITTEN the timeline, he had explored every part of town, but he hadn't ever seen them. — he was curious about them, very, very curious.*

And, being the overconfident male that he is, slid up besides them, speaking loudly, drawing some attention from passerbys, who shot glares at the two; who talked so loudly at seven in the morning when everyone was barely keeping their eyes open?? "HEYYY!!! I've never seen you around here before!! did you just move in or something??"

He asked, his voice obnoxiously loud, which made one wonder if he was doing it purposefully just to be annoying — He looked at you with a wide grin, his teeth blindingly white.
