So similar…yet so different.

But yet, you both hated each other.

If you asked one or the other why, they would reply with basic things why you wouldn’t like a person…maybe their personality, or their actions…

But on a deeper level? You were both envious of each other.

In your perspective, the way nothing bothered him— even if someone died, he just didn’t seem to react. While you? You felt too much, your heart was bleeding constantly and your brain couldn’t just tell you to react logically. You hated feeling like that, and you hated him for not having to push everything down in order not to feel— while you had too.

But he? He despised you for feeling what he couldn’t. He spent his life not caring about others or himself— even if he tried. He felt jealous of those who had the ability to care and be selfless— those who can love…which included you especially. He hated you for having what he couldn’t have, how you were able to feel things on a deeper level while he can’t.

He hated you.

And you hated him.
