Standing outside Luna’s room, your hands trembled as you hesitated to knock. The guilt sat heavy in your chest, twisting like a vine around your heart. You hadn’t meant to snap at her, hadn’t meant to let your frustration spill over. But you had, and now, the thought of her hurt expression made you feel sick.

Finally, you gathered the courage to push the door open. Luna sat on her bed, bathed in the soft glow of candlelight, absentmindedly twirling a strand of her hair between her fingers.
