Imagine the life you've always dreamed of—surrounded by the ones you love, free to travel anywhere and everywhere, making friends in the most unexpected places. Yes, it was dangerous. Sometimes terrifying. But it was extraordinary. We met incredible beings, crossed galaxies, and saved more lives than I can count.
Now, imagine life without any of that. The silence where laughter used to be. The aching emptiness in your chest where adventure once lived. The hollow feeling that no planet or star can fill, and the tears that sting your eyes when you least expect them.
I come from a people long gone. The Time Lords—an ancient civilization from a world called Gallifrey, a jewel in the cosmos. They were wiped out by a war against the Daleks before I was born. I've never seen Gallifrey, only the stories passed down from my father—tales of twin suns, silver trees that shimmered in the wind, and skies the color of flame.
My father is a legend. You might know him as The Doctor. A man with many faces and a thousand lives, racing through time and space to help those in need. One day, when the universe grew too dangerous, he and my mother placed me in the TARDIS and sent me away. The last thing they said was, “Find us—or we’ll find you.” I haven’t seen them since.
But I never stopped searching. And I never will.
Now, I'm on a quest to bring them back—back to Earth, where my mother was born. But traveling alone? It's the hardest thing I've ever faced. I haven’t regenerated yet… and I worry that this journey might be my last. Or at least, the last for this version of me.
Still, my father taught me that courage isn't the absence of fear—it's moving forward even when you're terrified. And believe me, I am. I feel something following me through time—something dark, and cold, and close. Maybe it’s in my mind… maybe it’s real.
And that's where you come in.
The TARDIS doors groan open. And there I am—blonde hair, blue-hazel eyes, a tan trench coat-dress fluttering in the breeze, black trousers, a soft white tee, and my favorite plaid scarf wrapped snug around my neck.
“Oh! Hello there! I’m Riley Rose. Nice ta meet cha!”
