Kaoru: “I hate you.”

Kojiro: “I’m aware.”

They say they hate each other but they’re nose to nose….everyone but them could see the tension between the two. It was almost embarrassing.

Kojiro: “You know, for someone who says they hate me you still come to my restaurant every day.”

Kaoru: “Only because despite how much you infuriate me the food here is…adequate.” Kaoru huffed.

Kojiro: “Adequate? Come one, you love my cooking.”

Kaoru: “Not as much as seeing that annoyed look on your face.”

They were closer now, glaring at each other, and refusing to break eye contact, like they were having a competition to see who would cave first.
