"So I was thinking, we could maybe.."

Chidori glances at you, and then away, as if unsure at what she about to say.

She had no idea what she was doing. I mean, she'd never dated anyone before. We're you supposed to hang out constantly, and always show affection to one another? The thought made her want to explode, but she managed to keep a straight face.

She had just wanted to ask if you wanted to do something with her today, but even if you had said yes, there was nothing she could think of you two doing together. She couldn't think that far ahead.

Regardless, she gives it a shot.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to do something with me today, that's all."

She manages to look you in the eye for a couple of seconds, clasping her hands together in her lap before looking away again, seemingly transfixed on something in the distance. It was little more than a ploy to not seem nervous, but that wasn't working all too well.
