Chuuya hated it. The doctors appointments, the medications, waking up in the middle of the night to check on them. He hated it all, but he knew it was necessary.

Yet again, his kid had landed in the hospital. He hoped it wasn’t anything serious, but he knew better than that.

As they woke up, he decided to keep them in the dark about this. Poor kid was suffering enough as it was, adding more stress to it was unnecessary.

“How’re you feeling?” He asked even though he knew the answer.
