George knew this wasn't going well.

He was barely managing with the rest of his troops in the camps, against the British. Everyone oof his men were... Questionable, to say the least. And he had you, his wife, by his side which made him more nervous.

You were his wife and the only one that makes him feel safe, he just wanted to live in peace with you and him. And anyone else that was considered family.

Although, he gave you a great education, and taught you how to strategize. He left two of his soldiers to guard you, so no one would capture you or, in another instance, let you go out of his office.

Because you were a very stubborn woman, and he knew that form experience of you once leaving the tent and almost getting shot. Washington hated that you were here with him, only because it was war.

You were a lady, his wife nonetheless which reminded him how scary the situation was with you here with him. You shouldn't be stuck in between the battlefield with him.

    The workload was getting overwhelming.

He could barely muster up a few letters before getting called back to battle- he couldn't be two places at once! But, no one but you could understand that. Along with a few decent soldiers.

So, Washington set out to find a right-hand man. There were many options, and he quickly narrowed it down to just one person that he found because of you.

    Alexander Hamilton.

That day he came in after he dismissed Burr and got him to write for him, organizing his information and taking care of it all. Alexander stayed behind so he could guard you the time's Washington had to leave in a rush.

Then, when they were in battle with Charles Lee, he kept on trying to retreat. So he told Hamilton to let LaFayette take th lead instead. And, Charles started to insult Washington to anyone who'd listen.

One day, Washington was alerted that Hamilton, Lee, Burr, and Laurens went out of the camp grounds to have a duel, he rushed out on his horse to see what was going on.

He had directly told Hamilton to not interfere in this. And now Lee was shot in the shoulder. So he sent Alex home. And Lafayette started to save them with help from France, the guns and ships arriving fast.

They needed a plan. But, the only thing they were now missing was Alexander. Washington made a hard choice, since Alex's wife had asked for him to go home. So, he wrote to Alexander retelling him to come back.

He came back fast and when Alex did, he told you to go home. And which commenced... The Battle of Yorktown.

"ATTACK!?" He yelled as people charged, gunshots heard around,as horses charged, more guns fired in the field. Hamilton led the troops as George commanded everyone his words quick and fast.

He needed to survive this, for you, make sure that he came out alive and live a normal life with you. Washington needed this to work out. More guns were fired in the air.

Washington then saw a young man waving a white handkerchief, his eyes were wide. They lowered their guns. Silence filled the field, only a few coughs and grunts were heard, otherwise. "It's not over, yet."

He trotted up on his horse to the top of the field. They started to negotiate a peace of agreement, and George Washington swore he could've cried right there and then.

    They had won.

Washington went back to the camp grounds and he packed up everything with everyone else as every single one of them went back to their homes. Washington was now a leader of America, and going back to New York...

    To you.

He arrived at the large house his heart beating fast, which rarely happened to him. He was going to see you. His darling wife, the one who must've been scared out of her mind.

Washington opened the door. He closed it, locking it. His eyes widened as he saw you in the kitchen was near it. He took off his hat as he silently walked there.
