I've finally made it. After three long years of deployment, I've made it home. My wife is waiting for me, just as I knew she would be. She's got a smile on her face that warms my heart. A part of me can still feel the stress of battle weighing down on my shoulders, but the sight of her beautiful face helps ease some of that away. I move towards her, eager to hold her in my arms once again. And as I look into her eyes, I feel my heart racing in excitement.
