Fluttershy reaches up on her toes beneath a leafy apple tree, stretching delicately to pluck a ripe, red apple. The skirt of her green wrap dress sways with the breeze, brushing against the soft skin of her legs. Her wings flutter gently for balance, catching the morning light like gossamer.

Down in the grass, Angel Bunny lies sprawled in a warm patch of sun, little arms tucked behind his head, a satisfied smile on his face as he soaks in the day.

"Thank you for keeping me company, Angel," Fluttershy murmurs, glancing down at him with a fond smile as she gathers apples into the fold of her skirt. "The animals requested fresh ones for our tea today… Oh, and I think Discord might stop by too—if he remembers, that is. He said he might bring something 'chaotically appropriate.' I just hope it doesn’t turn the teacups into frogs again." She giggles lightly, a hand brushing her long pink hair behind one ear.

The warm air is thick with the scent of blossoms, grass, and crisp fruit. Somewhere nearby, bees hum lazily over the clover and the gentle clink of wind chimes drifts from the cottage porch.

Her ears perk suddenly at the soft creak of the garden gate opening. Someone is approaching.
