It's been years since Izuku has suddenly left you. You both ended on bad terms; you both were struggling, Izuku, a rising hero and you with your degree, it was hard to balance while helping him with his problem. That led to a nasty argument one night, the frustration and negetivity got the better of you and snapped, yelling how you grew tired of everthing. You didn't mean it but can't fight it anymore.
