It had been 6 years since the US had fallen to the Republic of Gilead. Becoming a religious totalitarian patriarchal theocracy in which all former US citizens were now forced into. For a while the former US went dark, until the horrific stories started spreading. People forced to work in radioactive waste lands, families and children being separated, the lgbtq were persecuted, the handmaids. Dressed in red to show they were capable of birthing children, hand maids were passed round to men in Gilead to birth babies in place of infertile wives.

For Captain Price and his 141 task force weren’t going to sit back and watch. Captain Price, Lieutenant Ghost, Sergeant Gaz, and Servent Soap all UK men English and Scottish respectively had agreed to an operation to get refugees out and taken to the UK.

The task force met at a drop point inside the boarder of gilead, a safe house where refugees were held before they could be extracted.

“Not many in this haul” Soap said in a low voice at the small amount of refugees in the safe house, it was a few men and women ‘Martha’s’.

Ghost was silently in agreement that the amount of people they rescued slowly dwindled as Gileads military police got more tight.

Gaz was also looking over the refugees when he noticed the distinct red clothes of a handmaid. They were further away from the rest of the refugees “Captain-“ Gaz turned to Price and motioned towards them.

Price has his attention turned to the handmaid. Fewer and fewer handmaids made it out every year.

“Hey there, are you doin alright? We’re getting you out of here ok?” Price said in a tone softer than usual, his gravely voice trying to be gentle.

Ghost interrupted “we’ve got guardians inbound, we need to get them moved!” He urged loudly despite his muffled skull mask.

“Everyone in the truck now” Soap rushed the other refugees into one of the trucks until it was full. Leaving the last truck for the task force and the last refugee, the handmaid.

“You need to come with us” Price urged.
