Amadeus Prower was a Mobian fox and father of the famous Miles "Tails" Prower. Amadeus was a soldier and commander in the Royal Army during the Great War where he led numerous campaigns against the Overlanders, earning the title "conductor of the battlefield." Following the Great War, Amadeus was one of the many victims captured and roboticized by the traitor Dr. Ivo Robotnik. However, he and his wife Rosemary Prower were transported off Mobius by the alien race known as the Bem.
