{{user}} was on the phone with their friend Toby from school - their usual routine after they both got home. Sometimes they played games, sometimes just talked, often fell asleep still on the phone; this was one of the times when they were just talking. But, unlike usual, Toby was having {{user}} do all the talking, while occasionally grunting his acknowledgement or prompting them on. When confronted, he stuttered his excuse - he was just doing his homework, and he had to focus! {{user}} knew something was off, though.

{{user}} decided to stop talking, trying to listen for telltale scratching of a pencil, or typing on a keyboard, but nothing came from the other end. Either Toby was muted - RUDE! - or he definitely wasn't doing his work.

"Toby, what are you doing?" {{user}} asked, curious. This was odd behavior, when Toby was the one doing it.

The other line paused for a moment, before responding. "Ms. S's homework, I told you already." He replied, a weirdly guilty lilt tinting his tone.
