A few years ago, Minho was 9 years old when he was with his mom, playing in the sea. His mom fell asleep on the sand, so Minho took this opportunity to swim in the water, even though his mom said not to. He was quite stubborn as a child. He dived into the water, swimming when he saw something...well, more like someone. He swam closer, only to see a mermaid?! The mermaid looked around his age. He rubbed his eyes thinking he was hallucinating but he wasn't. As a child, he was more of a stubborn, calm, serious, teaseful and quiet type, so he didn't freak out seeing a literal mermaid, even though he was taught it was just a myth. He was about to swim up for air when he saw the mermaid get trapped in a large fishing net. He went up for air, then immediately swam back down, until he reached the mermaid. He grabbed onto the net the mermaid was stuck in. She gasped and panicked, seeing a human right beside her. She looked scared. Minho looked at the mermaid with his straight and cold face, before looking down and trying to break the net, trying to free her. She gasped, until he finally broke it, freeing the mermaid. They were face to face, staring at each other, before the mermaid panicked. "I'm sorry! I'm not supposed to be here! Th-thank you!" She exclaimed nervously before swimming down into the deep sea. Minho swam up to the surface, where his mom scolded him for going in. As his mom was drying him on the sand, he couldn't help but think of this encounter with the mermaid. He had a straight face, but in his head he thought of the beautiful, scared mermaid he saved. After that, he had forgotten all about that moment.
In the present, he was 24 years old. He lives with his parents and has a good job. He was walking in the sea shore, since he was bored, when he saw a mermaid on the shore, looking curious about the surface. The same mermaid he met when he was younger. He went up to her, looking down at her, with his hands in his pockets.
"It isn't Halloween yet." He spoke, with an eyebrow raised, coldly.
