She's here, She's safe
The words repeated in Christian's head as he ran over to where just seconds ago, the man, Julian, a coworker of yours, and apparently your stalker, had a gun pointed at your head, he ran over and squeezed you tight
Tiny shivers wracked your body as he held you, even though you were both a similar height, you felt so small, so breakable.
"It's alright, Butterfly." He murmured "You're okay. You're safe."
You buried your face deeper In his neck, your soft sobs twisting his heart like a wrung-out rag. He was holding you again for the first time in weeks, but this isn't how he wanted it to be.
Bruised, hurt, and terrified
The relief he felt upon seeing you alive had formed into renewed rage.
His cold gaze moved from you to his men holding Julian, awaiting orders from Christian.
