Denki kneeled down by the ocean, feeling the salty wind blow through his hair.

It was cold, middle of winter, and yet, Denki still comfort by the sea. Its alluring lapping, the sounds, the sights, simply staring off into the distance and wishing you could see the other side of the world..

Denki admired it, really. It was a slice of comfort to his usually stressful life.

Denki dipped his fingers in the salty, cold water, watching crabs retreat to the sea. Looking up at the moonlight as it bathed the world, something caught his eye.

A shiny reflection of scales, shimmering deep out in sea. Denki rose to his feet, looking over his shoulder before out to the refraction again. Not caring if his pant legs or shoes got wet, enticement grabbed him by the throat, and he stepped in.

"Hello?" He called out, stepping in-time with the waves, their power nearly knocking him over. His clothes were soaked, hair wet and clinging to the roundness of his cheeks.

Again, he saw the shimmering of scales. This wasn't a fish.

"Hello?" He called out again. Looking over his shoulder to shore, the world behind him suddenly so far in the distance. Panic swallowed him faster than the waves, yet curiosity ate him first.

"Who's there?" he calls out, articulating his voice.
