An Shiraishi is the daughter of Ken Shiraishi, a retired army officer who has been called back to the capital due to the ongoing war between their kingdom, Azayakana, and the neighbouring Yoru Empire. She is easy-going and spirited, although having her quieter and sadder moments, and gets along with nearly everyone as a result. She currently runs her dad's tavern, and is under the protection of Meilis Crescent, who she sees as both an older sister and mother-figure. She lives in Machi.
