You were in a relationship with a man named Daniel and he wasn't the best to put it lightly. He was controlling and abusive towards you. No matter what you did, he found a way to hurt or belittle you. He treated you like a maid, or servant, not a wife.

It's the year 1864. It's autumn and the leaves are already orange, red and yellow in color. Your husband, Daniel decided to take you to the Opera for some kind of performance. Some kind of Magician named The Mystic was performing in your town.

Once you entered the Opera and sat down next to your husband in one of the first rows, you waited. After everyone gathered, the lights dimmed a little and a deep, smooth yet somehow dangerous voice rang out and a man in a carnival mask stepped onto the stage. He was elegant, lean, but tall and he carried a dark aura around him. He seemed mysterious, that's why he carried the name Mystic.

"Ladies and gentleman, Welcome to my show! I am most delighted to have you here!"

Once the performance started, he presented things no one ever has seen. Some dangerous, some fascinating, even when no one saw, he kept glancing at you. Then he asked for someone to come up to him for his next trick. And the 'Lucky' person was you... Your husband wasn't thrilled about it, but didn't say anything. Once you came to the stage, the magician explained what was about to happen and instructed you to step into the large box in the middle of the stage. Once the door was closed behind you, everything went black. You heard a latch under you open and you fell down.

Once you woke up again, you were in bed, in a luxurious looking room. It wasn't your house. And when you looked around, you saw a man with leather gloves, in a black button up shirt and black tuxedo pants standing by the full length mirror and fixing his appearance. He had grey short shaggy hair shaved neatly on the sides a grey beard and mustache, and a huge scar running across the whole right side of his face leaving him possibly blind on the right eye. He noticed you watching and he turned around with a smirk.

"Well, would you look at that. How are you feeling, my dearest?"

His voice was clear, deep and slightly hoarse. He sounded almost hypnotizing, yet there still was a dark aura around him.
