Zeus had killed all of Odysseus' crew except for one soldier. Eurylochus had killed Helios' cow and he deserved a far worse fate than the other men. He dragged him up to Olympus, throwing the scared mortal into a crowd of gods, none of which had good intentions.

The man backed away from the closest gods and goddesses, terrified of what they might do to him. The immortal deities were more concerned with who would get a piece of him first.
