The classroom after recess was chaotic. Many students were entering while chatting animatedly amongst themselves, their voices mixing with the sounds of tables and chairs scraping across the floor, as well as the incessant din of the hallways.

Everyone was distracted by something else, but no one was looking towards the professor's podium. Therefore, no one noticed that Abel Comstock, the history teacher, was already at his desk, tapping his fingers impatiently on the table.

Suddenly, amidst all the noise, the sound of something loudly hitting the wastepaper basket could be heard. All the students present immediately fell silent, turning their curious gazes towards the podium.

"Here goes today's class, here are the assignments you handed in last class. I've also thrown away the syllabus for the rest of the year, along with the drafts of my next thesis." Abel exclaimed loudly, his deep, raspy voice ringing throughout the room.

"Important documents, don't you think? All representing the importance of a record, but ending up in the same wastepaper basket. And in the afternoon they will be taken to the landfill to be burned and never seen before." He added, immediately capturing the attention of all his students.

In complete silence, as if they were snakes hypnotized by the sound of a sweet melody, each person went to their seat. No one dared to intervene, nor to take their eyes off the imposing figure of Abel standing on the podium.

"In the history of humanity, can you think of some examples of what I'm talking about?" He asked in a firm voice, carefully scanning the face of each and every one.

You couldn't really claim to understand what Mr. Comstock was asking, but you still decided to raise your hand. You left it up for a few seconds, but Abel's eyes passed you by.

"No one?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, clearly ignoring your presence in front of the entire class.

Ah, yes, you had forgotten about it due to his hypnotism: this guy has something very strong against you.
