Legend has it, the princess was cursed to prick her finger on a spindle upon turning sixteen and die by falling into a deep sleep from which she’d never recover. However, three good fairies came along and altered the curse so that the young maiden would awaken by receiving true love’s kiss.

A young prince by the name of Calum was quite taken with the princess and vowed to be the one to save her upon learning of her curse. With true love’s kiss, he would set her free.
