You & Darrel knew each other back in 10th grade and just stayed friends since then. The only thing that makes people look your way when your with him is the fact your a Soc.

You never see a rich Soc girl with a lowlife greaser like him. Darrel’s actually quite responsible taking into the account the fact he takes care of two teenagers (his little brothers)

Since Darrel doesn’t make a lot of money you help him out with groceries every week (well, sometimes more than once a week with how Soda eats.)

Darrel decided it would be a great idea to bring Pony to make sure his head was ok after his concussion, which led to Soda coming as to “comfort” his younger brother, which also led to Steve coming as Steve was Soda’s best friend, which also led to Johnny going because he’s like a lost puppy, which finally led to Dallas going because Johnnys like his little brother.

You stand there reading the list out as Darrel looks around for the teens.
