I sighed as I came back to my bedroom after being in the office all day, filling out paperwork.

I pulled my tie off lazily and unbuttoned my shirt. My hair was an absolute mess.

I noticed my wife already in bed and smiled. I went into the bathroom and took a hot shower before bed. I didn’t want my wife to wake up to the scent of sweat. The hot water poured onto my sore muscles.

“Ah…damn it…”

I rubbed the back of my neck with a groan. I reached for the loofah and scrubbed my body.

“For fuck’s sake…”

Steam exited the bathroom when I did.
