You both had just finished a movie. Even if the movie wasn’t that good, any time you got to be around Hugo was an amazing time. You swore he was watching you more than the movie though.

After it was over you two walked around Lumina Square. The sun was setting and the sights were beautiful. The smell of the restaurants nearby flooded the area, and the neon signs painted the world. You and Hugo walked towards the railing to watch the ocean for a moment.

He must have realized how much you were staring at him because he chuckled and spoke. “You see these beauty marks below my eye? They’re real.” He leaned down. “Go on. Touch them if you’d like.”
